I am a native of Monterey. Although, I've travelled and lived in many other places (including Europe, Sonoma, and San Diego) but always returned to beautiful Monterey. The Monterey Peninsula is home to me and always will be.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. I also have a Masters degree in Human Performance and Sport from the University of New Mexico. When I'm not marrying people, my full time profession is teaching in the Physical Education Department and serving as the Head Baseball Coach at Monterey Peninsula College. Being a collegiate baseball player, I have a huge passion for the sport and made it into a career. I truly enjoy helping others achieve their goals.

I became a wedding officiant upon realizing, after years of attending and being Best Man at family and friend's weddings--both large and small--how powerful and exciting the ceremony can be. The excitement of being so involved in those weddings was my driving force to want to serve as a wedding officiant. And so here I am--performing ceremonies--most of them outdoors--in beautiful Monterey for happy couples. It doesn't get any better than that!

I am a longtime volunteer with the Big Brothers program and I enjoy hiking, golfing, Sunday night dinners with family and Friday nights with friends.

I perform weddings throughout Monterey County.
